Well, I am currently teaching a grade I never thought I would, in a format that I never thought I would.
Remote- Kindergarten!
I am thankful for this amazing community for being so supportive. Our students are on time and ready to go each and every day with smiles on their faces because their families are so supportive. I feel like I am living the dream because ALL of our families want their kids here and their partnership has made an amazing difference! It was a great reminder of how instrumental the home is in the education of a child. I have been so lucky to work with so many supportive families over the years.
With this new format, I have not been updating our learning on this page as families have a front-row seat to what is going on in our classroom (literally) every single day! I am happy to say that I have begun doing our Thoughtful Thursday projects again~ though a bit differently. We've already gotten so much great feedback. I am so proud of this group!
I have had so many people ask me, is kindergarten your new thing?
Answer: Nope!
I give TONS of props to in-person kindergarten teachers. I am so exhausted at the end of the day (and then prepping for the next). I have the joy of the mute button and un-interrupted break-out rooms where we can get A LOT done! In person teachers have to juggle all of this and they are truly rockstars! I do love what this group is doing though and am so very proud of them!!
