WE DID IT!!!
Our time together sure flew by. This was a wonderful group and I am really going to miss them. I only wish that I could have had them for longer but one thing is for certain, I will never forget them or this crazy year. Thank you families for all that you did. This was a year like no other and I am so thankful to have had the opportunity to partner up with you all. I think we've learned we can do hard things!
In our last week, we spent some time reflecting on the year in a video that you can see HERE. I am glad that everyone participated because it is fun to look back in five years, ten years... etc. This blog will be up for you whenever you want to visit.
Our last day was especially fun and you can see pictures and videos from that by clicking HERE. All pictures will also be posted on our class facebook page if you want them.
Our final Thoughtful Thursday project will be traveling out of state to Mr. Ray and you can see his project HERE. If you ever know of someone in need of encouragement, please reach out so we can help.
There were many who were really sad on our last day together and we were wiping lots of tears but I reminded them that goodbye doesn't have to mean forever. I have students who come back regularly to keep in touch (this year we met in the parking lot) and many keep in touch long after they leave me. It's hard to believe I have first graders who are moms and dads themselves now.
Some of your children asked if we could zoom over the summer, simply put, YES! Just let me know.
So~ once a student of Mrs. Doran, always a student of Mrs. Doran.
