Though some of you may be wishing that summer would never end, the signs in the stores are telling you otherwise. In case you are wondering what supplies would be helpful in our classroom this year, here is a list. You do not need to put your name on any of the supplies because they go into a community bucket that we will all share. ** Mrs. Tisdall and Mrs. Bandy may have some different requests.**
(I am unsure if class lists have been made public at this time)
1 box of crayola crayons (48 pack only)
1 box of SHARPENED (to save this wonderful teacher time please) pencils (yellow Ticonderoga are the best and easiest to sharpen).
4 glue sticks
1 pair of scissors (blunt)
1 package of Expo dry erase markers
2 large pink erasers
1 binder- 1" only please (this will be used as your child's portfolio so they should put their name on it and may decorate it)
1 standard composition notebook (the black marble style is fine- they will be covered later)
***Other supplies that would be helpful***
tissues, disinfectant wipes (for cleaning), post-it notes, shaving cream, plastic sleeves (used for writing pieces in portfolios), $3 donation to help cover the cost of book boxes and folders I will purchase to be used in class.
I have already been busy getting ready for another great school year and am excited to work with you this year! Enjoy what is left of the summer and if you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact me!
