Week 30 in Review

Greetings from Room 119! We hope everyone had a wonderful Spring Break! It's hard to believe we are in the final stretch of school and preparing to leave ready for 3rd grade! This week's Thoughtful Thursday went out to a former LLE teacher and her family. You can see the project we made by clicking HERE. Thank you to everyone who sent emails for Thoughtful Thursday projects! If you ever have someone, please don't hesitate to contact me.

A happy birthday to our friend Audrey! She turned the Great 8 this weekend and we had fun singing to her. Sto Lat!
In reading Mrs. D has been meeting again with us individually. We have loved this time in our day to just read. Mrs. D. was so busy with us she forgot to snap pictures of us until Friday when we convinced her to let us do buddy reading with flashlights since many of us still had them.
We've been working on Informational Writing in Room 119. We wrote what we learned from a book we read about fish and we also are gathering research to write a biography. We are doing a great job!
It was a busy week in math. We did measuring, data gathering, graphing and more. Just a reminder that we are having our Math Assessment beginning on Monday.
We ended the week with our Mystery Reader! Gwen was so excited to have her mom come in to read to us and most of us had not heard of the Seuss book she read! Thanks so much for coming in!

This weather is crazy! Don't forget to check the weather reports and dress appropriately because we do go outside when we can! We're ready for winter to leave!
