Week 36 in Review

Greetings from Room 119. This week's Thoughtful Thursday Project went to the Nana of one of our classmates. To see Nana Mary's project, click HERE.

It was a busy week! We can't wait to see what the 2nd grade (and school) raised for Red Nose Day! In math we've been learning about the 'expand and trade' strategy for subtraction. We stretched out our lesson for more practice and are doing well.
In writing we researched and took notes with a buddy on someone from history. Next week we'll be writing to share what we learned. We had a lot of fun doing this!
Mrs. Doran continues with her testing and got most of us done on Wednesday. We also had the opportunity to hear from Mrs. Newmyer. She shared a fun book with us!
In social studies we continue to learn about the history of Walled Lake. It's been really interesting to learn about and see pictures of our town from so long ago.
We had our PBIS Leader of the Month Assembly and Sama was recognized as someone who shows integrity. Congratulations, Sama!
