Midweek Update

We are continuing our study of insects with some new 'friends' coming to Room 119 hopefully today (Tuesday).  To make room, we are going to be saying goodbye to our mealworms/pupas/beetles.  If you would like your child's beetle to come home with them in a vial, just email me, comment on this blog (all comments on here are emailed to me), or send in a note by FRIDAY.

By now everyone has a copy of our Insect Report either via the blog or from the hard copy that was sent home yesterday.  Reports are due on March 18th.  We will be having an Insect Museum on March 21st.  First Grade Families will be invited to our museum on March 21st from 3:00-3:30.  If you have any questions, please let me know.

Just a reminder that Marco's Pizza night is THIS Thursday.  Please consider making it your "Pizza Night" and make sure you tell them that you're from Mrs. Doran's class.

March is reading month and we will be having a kick-off assembly this Thursday.  We have a lot of fun things planned for the month.  More information will be coming home soon.  To view a calendar of activities for the month, you can click HERE.

Though it isn't March (yet), I have updated the calendar of events on our blog, so please take a look and mark your own calendars.  Should you have any questions about anything, let me know and please remember to pass on those PBS Acts of Kindness cards.  We have only had two responses from our class.

Have a great day (and no snow dances tonight please... too much to do in Room 119!)

~Mrs. Doran
