For those of you who have not yet experienced a Field Day at our school, it is a wonderful and fun-filled day. Your child will get a free T-Shirt (from Berkman & Shapiro Orthodontics) to change into when they come to school on Monday. It is also our school's tradition that students sign shirts with Sharpie Markers. Chase's dad has donated 23 markers for students to use (Thank you!). If you do not want your child's shirt to be signed, please let me know.
Field Day is all day so I would recommend you put sunscreen on your children before you send them to school. Make sure they are dressed for the weather and have tennis shoes. They may also wear hats. Mr. Olack usually plans a lot of activities that involve water. You may want to send your child in with dry socks to change into at the end of the day.
If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact me.
